I have been terribly inconsistent

I just got my laptop up and running again. To be honest, I have been doing nothing other than watching soccer and occasionally fishing. I have watched about 90% of the Womens World Cup and about 90% of the Copa America so far, and a small portion of the U-17 World Cup. I have been enjoying all of the soccer on tv and look forward to seeing these tournaments conclude. I am hoping Colombia does really well, and by really well I mean win the Copa America. I am also rooting for Messi, because he is an amazing soccer player and would only wish the best for him. Anyways, this is just a super short one, I am pretty tired. Good night

Fishing

Well, it seems like this summer I will be spending most of my money and time on fishing equipment.  I am trying to gain experience in fishing so that I can reach the uber professional level of Cory "The Killer" Keitz.  He invited me to go fishing in Michigan with him in August, and so I do not look like a noob, I am trying to get better at this fishing thing.  I am constantly watching the fishing programs on TV as well as reading through internet articles about rods, reels, lines, lures, you name it.  Next week I should be going fishing with my cousin Sebastian, no not the one from the little mermaid, so I will post some pics up then.  In the meantime check out this video...

Memorial Day Weekend

Blogging world, I have been away from you for a long time.  Last time I was on here I was going through the whole Messi Video wave with 5.6 million hits.  I got some free stuff from a guy I helped out on a soccer website and I finished my 2nd to last semester in Indiana.  Now I am at home in Jersey and have been doing house chores non stop.  Not worried about it.  Actually, it was my parents' 25th anniversary so we went down to Miami and spent the weekend there.  It was super fun, lots of family and lots of sun.  Amazing place to be in, not to mention Tiesto was only a few hours away in Orlando and there was a Hip Hop Festival on South Beach.  Great time to be in Florida!

Anyways, it was a good time, but a friend sent me a message about her youtube page and I guess it gave me a reason to get back on the interweb.  Fort those of you that may stumble onto this page, you should definitely check out her youtube page.  I have a video that I will post on here.

This Epic Saturday

If you do not already know, Real Madrid face FC Barcelona at home.  Last time they met, they lost 5-0, but that was at Barcelona.  This weekend, Madrid get to play their long time rivals in their own home and it should be an epic game. Who do you think will win? And by how much, I am interested in seeing what you think the score and winner will be... Messi is Awesome

For those of you who don't know, Barcelona plays Real Madrid on the 16th.  I am super excited  and you should be too.  Here is something I found whilst surfing the interweb.

As any of my friends can tell you, I am a FC Barcelona fan/supporter.  They are actually on TV right now as we speak (or read) playing against Almeria in La Liga.  It is amazing to think that these guys are pros and they are doing so many things both on and off the field.  Messi alone has such an impact on the world, he can do many things and I am sure he is doing all he can to help out others.  Anyway, I hope they win, and they have a good chance of winning since this team is considered the best team ever.

Any way, last time I worked at my restaurant was on Tuesday, and I work later tonight.  I have been trying to do research on what affects weight gain and weight loss.  Basically what I have figured is that it is almost completely food intake, along with jogging/exercising like about 5 times a week.  But what I am trying to think is how many calories do I burn or what not during work at this busy restaurant.  Some websites say 200-300 calories per hour, other say close to 1000 per day worked, so not sure.  I always feel tired like if I walked to California and back, and that is part of the reason why I am too lazy to go work out at the gym, but looks like I have to man up.

Last night was fun, btw, dj at the house party was wack.  It sounded like a horse race with the two djs trying to play with each other.  One of the djs was Oscar de Lima, that I spoke about in earlier blogs, and he did fine as he usually does, but the new dj was "doing my head in."  All in all, fun night, ended early but it was okay while it lasted.

Just sitting in the kitchen helping out a buddy with his Calculus listening to Oscar de Lima's mix which is saucey. Whenever you guys get a chance you should definitely download his mixes and check out his other ones, great DJ and a great selection of music that you have probably never even heard of.

Long day today, ended up going to bed around 5:30 am after an Epic night out at EarlyBirds, the 'premier night club of Fort Wayne' (ew). Place was packed, smelled like a sweaty locker room with beer and liquor on the carpet. Ladies were looking lovely, but I still don't understand how guys can get in there with regular dress. If it's the premier nightclub, there should be a strict dress code and a strict guy to girl ratio. Anyways, pineapple vodkas were only $3, so it was nice not spending too much money. Made a late night taco bell run with Oscar de Lima himself and ended up going home around 5 or 5:30 am.

Got up for work at 9 am and that was one of the worst feelings, going to work terribly sleepy. Stayed until about 3 pm and came home to find the roommates making breakfast for lunch! Got a call from my friend over at the onlinesocceracademy.com Jared Montz and we spoke for about 15 minutes and it was pretty interesting listening to what he is going through and how much the video has helped out other people!

Anyways, this week should be productive. I will be talking to coach sometime this week about doing something related to the Juggle-A-Thon, I will also attend all of my classes and do all the required readings.

April Fools its Friday

Long day today, woke up to see that my youtube video had over a million hits, and right now its coming up on 2.5 million.  The plan today was to clean my room, since I just moved in with a few new buddies, but instead I spent all day posting my video on other sites so I can make a few bucks for this broke ass college student.

Talking about moving in with the new roommates, our soccer house was robbed over spring break and we decided that we shouldn't  be living in the hood anymore, so I talked to some of my soccer buddies and they let me move in with them.  Props to them, but I am pretty sure I am hooking them up with some cheaper rent/bills.

Last thing I would like to speak with you people about is this thing I got into from one of my viewers from the video.  I came into contact with the founder of  OSA World Juggle-a-thon Jared Montz, and he explained to me that April 25th is World Malaria Day.  Basically, you pledge that you will give a certain amount of donation for the number of juggles that you can do.  So say you pledge 5 cents per juggle and you end up doing one hundred juggles, then you donate 5 dollars to the cause.  Thats basically it.  Thinking about grabbing this one by the horns and possibly getting IPFW soccer out there and maybe do some good for this crazy world we live in.  Anyway, I am outta here.

Just posted Messi video on youtube

So I went to watch USA vs ARG this past weekend at the New Meadowlands Stadium.  Drove across the country for 12 hours with a broken headlight, then through a blizzard at the 9 hour mark of our trip through PA, and finally arrived safe and sound circa 3am---all so I could see Messi the master in action.  I filmed Messi doing some crazy stuff during his warm up and fell in love even more with the little man.  The weather was freezing cold, the stadium was packed, and I could not be any happier watching Messi run around the pitch making the USA defensive line look like a pack of rabid clowns.  I uploaded the video to Youtube a few days ago, and today, thanks to Casey Bowman, I got my video posted on the Yahoo homepage.  Now I have a third of a million views/hits and I have never been so excited.  Anyways, I will be on the blog some other time, but as for now, totaloo.
